The saddest reality..

I CARE… BUT YOU DON’T.

Sickening… I really hate the feeling knowing there’s someone I’m stumbling on to.

Leaving? It actually hurts more to know you’re there and someone is there but you just cannot do something to make things work the way you want it to be.

Talking about happiness and sadness just make things worst so why not think of something else?

Sometimes the best way to express emotions is to just keep your mouth shut when you feel like bursting out. This way, you can still have more time to think of the easiest yet the exact words you will have to say when you feel better.

I laugh, I cry, I stink. I definitely am not numb. I am a person, and I have feelings. No matter how many times you say you are okay when you are not, you will actually still blow up.

Why oh why can’t other people see that we actually care for them? They are not blind, are they?

Oh well, thinking there’s always something to look forward to everyday just makes things quiet different. Positive outlook --- that’s what we all need in order to survive.

Appreciating… why is it too hard for people to say even just a simple “Thank you”? PRIDE, tide, surf, ariel – they are detergents so don’t use them when you’re not doing some laundry, sistah!

When someone matters, every simple detail about that person counts a lot. You begin to be responsive and sometimes become over sensitive to what he or she says and do. It’s like wearing earphones; you cannot hear anything around you anymore but him.

I cannot actually say that it is love, you just care. But sometimes, caring can also be caused by being just too needy with the attention, thus, you initiate to care for him and expect him to do the same thing that you did.

I just do not get it why we do things beyond our means when we’re not asked to do it in the first place. Then we feel sad and get mad if it gets unnoticed. People are totally just too capricious sometimes but we are unaware that we are. We’re so good at telling others about it and often mock them at the back not knowing we, too, are guilty as charged.

Everybody deserves to be happy but happiness may vary from one person to another. Some people are just so hard too please that even giving out all of you may still not be enough for him.

It truthfully is tiring to do it all over again but you just feel that you have to. Because the more he gets wide awake, the more you feel the urge of gaining his eyes.

Then… what happened to all those traditional women that were supposed to be served by men?

Today, it’s like women will have to be very careful in order for men to stay.

To all the men, I may ask: Do you still remember that she was there the time when you needed someone to talk to? When you needed someone to hang out with even though she does not enjoy drinking beer and hanging out late at night, she was there. When you needed someone to help you do your home works, she was there. She was there… she was. But men were just too picky roaming around, looking for someone else better than this type of woman, jumping from one relationship to another.

And now they’re saying that we, girls, are becoming too easy? No! Girls are just actually tagging along with what they see these greedy men need. Like emotions, girls also vary depending on the type of man they want to hook up with. We become somebody of our own choice and sometimes, we begin to change to be appreciated by that one person we want to notice us.

Pretending sometimes becomes a very common excuse in order to save our faces from this ditching reality. We cannot force someone to like us, so all we can do is just show how much we care for them. And it’s up to them how they’re going to react to it.

The worst part of being a woman is not the weakness, but the reality that we are tagged as an option while men are the choosers. Men often think that we are too picky and choosy when it is the other way around. We are not picky; it’s just that the one that we like is not among the ones who expressed loudly their feelings towards us.

Men do not know that they are luckier to be able to sight and pick then say what they want to the girl they like… we cannot.

It is so hard… but we cannot do anything but wait. We will have to wait for that person that we like to feel the same way that we do. And that’s just one reality that we cannot change.

Eight

I used to think that life is easy. When you stumble into something, you stop and continue moving. But it's actually more than that -- there's more to life than just to live.

When I was a kid, I never needed anybody but myself. I was so engrossed of living alone that I never noticed who cared for me more than I did. I cared for no one but my self and a little for my family, that's how jerky I was before.

But then again, change is constant. We always learn to let go of the traits that we used to have and start living according to the needs of the society. I began to be dependent and at the same time, independent. From then on, I considered other people's opinion before I proceed and decide.

Apparently, no man is an island. We cannot live alone, because if we can, then most probably there's something going on deep inside your brain. With that, go see a doctor and have it cured! Kidding.

But anyway, when we were young, we used to live on the other side of the planet. We fail, we fall but we still stand up. That's how we were, but I was different. I started playing with other kids when I reached the age of 8 -- and that's soemthing I ain't totally proud of.

Maturity came to me the moment I saw the need of company. I felt so matured at the age of eight, thus, I thought most likely like those who were already 12. But I lived fine and I found it cool. I strive harder than those who were of the same age as me but I felt more pain over them -- and that's the hardest part.

Living is not totally about contenting yourself, but making yourself think you are indeed contented of every little thing that has been offered right in front of you. When you're too busy picking up the smaller pieces, someone else has to pick up those larger, visible pieces you never noticed. It happens everytime but you never care.

Right now, I live according to my plans and at the same time, according to my own will. Live life to the fullest and you'll totally enjoy every single detail of it!

CHANGing what's within

http://www.flickr.com/photos/donsevilla/210809234/

CHANGE what’s within first…

What makes people from this country (Philippines) blissful is not the self-attainment but self-contentment. We stick to those things that can never give satisfaction no matter how much we have attained. We pursue on things just to prove things that we ourselves cannot detect what else we still need.

Being such can never give life happiness, it can only unite us with depression leading us to failure. Once we dream, we always have to soar high but should have limits. We should never surpass things that shouldn’t be sacrificed just to satisfy ourselves.

This country has many things to offer to everybody. What makes this country poor is not the country itself but the people living currently here. Many have chosen to leave and find what they want in the US perhaps using their degree to earn more, not considering their needs.

What’s misleading us is not the need. Our needs are right in front of us, offering us it’s self but we just neglect and still choose to follow the path that many have already undertaken, we are simply copying and following what others already have done. Then what now?

The same as to Africa and other countries who are still developing, I do not know why they are suffering that much well in fact; they are in the world as we have. But as what has been always said: Every problem has a solution.

What could help us now is a big change. I don’t mean changing the world but changing what’s rooted deep inside us: our insights and how do we look at our life.

Complications always exist but what complicates us is the mind itself, our ideas and wants. If we change all of these and strive hard and move forward to create a new version of the world, this poverty issues, education deficiency and other issues will never be long enough and we will be living a complete life supplementing our needs.

River gush Floats

Lambagohan Fluvial Festival glided again this year for Kagay-anons and tourists despite from the threats received from the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) rebels saying they will be planting bombs on the said event.

Bunch of kids and adults rushed to see the floats as early as 7 a.m. aligning over the bridges while others chose to ride in bancas for rent to get a better view of the parade.

Dancers from participating barangays shouted out “Viva Senior San Agustin!” in honor for the patron saint of the city.

In addition for the traditional fiesta celebration of St. Augustine, Barangays Nazareth, Bonbon, Bulua, Gusa, Kauswagan, Consolacion, Bayabas, Lapasan and Macabalan boasted their decorated bancas in the fluvial parade, each competing for the P125, 000.00 cash prize.

The renowned giant gold fish of Barangay Lapasan victoriously attained the top prize while Barangays Gusa and Bayabas placed second and third, respectively.

Traffic was patiently controlled by traffic aides all over Maharlika Bridge to avoid accidents and roaring cars passing by.

Men vs Women

Just today, me and my friends were talking about the advantages and disavantages of men from women. I don't know why we had come up to this topic, it just suddenly popped up. Well, I'm a bit thankful because it gave me an idea as to what I should be writing for now. Because this would be my last post before midterm.
Anyway, as we were going on with our conversation. One friend of mine said about the future of women, saying that women (if they'll be marrying soemone sooner or later) will be worn out working all day doing the laundry, washing the dishes, rising early to prepare the needs of each member of the family like the uniform ofthe children and the husband, the breakfats and "baon" and other stuffs. While men will be doing nothing aside from going to the office and coming back to the house and sleep afterwards.
But the other friend of mine reacted and said about the "what-ifs". Saying that going to work is also tiring, people in the office are not worn out working using their body and hands but with their mind. In the office, problems always exist and fixing certain problems is not that easy.
The topic reprimanded until we talked about how we should take action to this matter. Because for me, I guess that this world really is bias. Men are giving much than women. Women are the ones being screwed totally in child birth, in relationships, and generally in living.
I just don't get it. Why should women suffer more than men? It's said that we are made equally but how come gender equality problem does exist?

Be the Change

Source: www.flickr.com

Yes, this photograph does have the basic component of photography, which is the rule of thirds. But this photograph does not just show the type of angle but also the situation lying deeply in this country of ours, Philippines.
How could this beautiful country of ours be ranked highly, not as a rich country but as one of the poorest countries around the globe?
To think that we have all the natural resources that we need for survival, why is it that we still do not have enough income to restrain the daily expenditures?
We cannot just blame the government alone because they are not living only for us, they also have their own lives. We are jst oneof their priorities that's why we also have to think twice before blaming anybody else of a public issue.
In order for a family. one has to work to earn and to commend to the daily needs of each member. Well, that was the trend before.
But now, it is totally different. Not just in terms of financial aspects but also of the population problem. I think the main reason why people are constantly undergoing to this kind of lifestyle is all because of their own doings.
Men keep on blaming the government, but not doing their part. Why? Should the government provide and give money to settle the debts we are having? Should the government pay for us?
I think it's our business to do these. We have to do our part as a citizen of this country. The problem of the government is a gestalt issue. It is a general issue. We must together do our thing to lessen and make a progress of this current problem of the society.
Be the change!

DARK Knight

Source: www.flickr.com

Actually, the title does not have something to do with what I really want to say in here.
Oh well, a little or so I guess.
The current exercise of our photography class deals about taking pictures in a dark room, or not actually in the dark room but something really dark using the light artistically.
Then there goes the talent (artistic) that I have not acquired during childhood, or shall I say the talent that I have not inherited from my family.
In this picture, the man is trying to be emotional. Well, it does show that he is alone and really emotional. The photo really shows the message that the photographer wants to say.
Using the light from the window, the subject (which is the man and the chair) is being focused.
A sarcastic question for this photo would be: Why not sit down on the chair?
After some time of looking at the photo, the reader would soon notice that the man wants to sit on the floor rather than to sit on the floor remarkably.
Why?
It would look more "EMO".
I don't care if I'm funny or not but that's how I guess this photo is.
Ideally, this photo is a good example of a picture that is taken in a dark room using the light to focus only the subject and the background a bit dark.
